He came and
lived
As it was
promised he would
Among men he
lived
Pleasing and
acceptable
To all in
question
A mission he
had
To redeem,
to save
And to this
he adhered
To the point
of death
A testimony is
there, to defend the claim
In the pain
of death
For my sins
he paid
And earned
the place
A savior for
mankind
From eternal
damnation
Dead still
he isn’t
He rose and
ascended
To the place
so royal
And an empty
grave remained
To prove my
savior lives
A
responsibilities in bulk he left
To guard
what he put in me
And spread
it to others in generosity
A helper to
aid he sent
As I cling
on to his promise
To come back
for me he promised
Sooner than
you think to whisk me off
But a
condition I have to uphold
Obey to the latter
the rules so well set
Least I lose
an inheritance of eternity
