Let the sun still till I close the deal at hand
Might be the love you radiate
Or the peace you give as I meditate
Upon your word in bid to get intimate
With you God, my creator, my owner
Your oracles are my joy
Living by them is my purpose
With the intensity of that day, the day I fell for you
The first love I had I forever bid to uphold
You God are my refuge
Lifting me up when I fall into sorrow
And what payback can I give, a creature just like me
But lines of praise and a heart full of thanks
