Understanding the True Power of Backlinking

A couple of years ago, you could get away with backlinks from a bunch of low quality or even duplicate articles plastered all over the web. With the most recent Google search algorithm updates getting a better grip on this simple, effective but unorthodox technique, website owners have to dig deeper to achieve the desired SERP rankings.

Black Hat SEO - Why it Might Not Be Worth It

Search engine optimization is a way of generating organic traffic from search engines. There are many ways to achieve this objective; however, you need to understand that not all of them are safe. Different marketing companies implement various SEO tactics to boost SERPs of the websites they are working on. Although there is no definite formula for ranking a site since search engines, popularly Google, keep on changing the algorithm they use, three categories that exist include; white hat, black hat and grey hat SEO.

Simple Tricks, Tweaks and Tips that Will Help Rise Your Blog's Traffic

Traffic feeds blogs. It is like a wallet, or a bank account. The heftier the better. Just like any other desirable thing in life, getting satisfying and repeated traffic to your blog isn't that easy. You have to meddle with SEO, set up and maintain an active social media profile, get friends and family to retweet you and sometimes pay someone to drive traffic to your website or blog.

The Proclaimed Deity

He stood aloof
In reach of the view
Just far enough to avoid the hoof
Neither conforming to the many - or the few
Shunning the desolate, forlorn of the mood

PERFECT TIMING

I have been seated here
Patiently waiting for the noise to hear
The encouraging chirp, a confirmation of day
Waiting to see, the golden shine yonder
Casting silhouettes of the eager melody makers

Come Whisper

come whisper
lay bare the secrete
Tell me what to touch
tell me what to push
show me how to cush
take you in the lush
and never regret

THE PLACE

at the place
where no additives spike the dark
and the distant stars glow so dim
with the feathery whisper of the pine
shall we meet to seal our deal

I JUST WANTED TO

I just wanted to come
Pass by and drop my letter
And hope that you will listen
To the brief words inscribed within

MY LAMP

A wall to climb, a trench to jump
Circumstances threaten, my joy to pump
Peers encroach to lead me astray they wish
But come what may my lamp must shine

i fail to get it

Up in the cold by my side in time
i groan and yawn, frown into her face
sweetly she smiles,as though nothing happened
i fail to get it, why all the enthusiasm?

HATERS

a pang in my heart
a bombared of the mind
they all threaten to deflate
and set my ego to the flat

they whisper on my back
for the courage they lack
to openly face my peril
and speak their hatred

on dainty feet i plode
picking my way through the spikes
for this is what life is made of
haters and lover, the mix of life

MY SAVIOUR

He came and lived
As it was promised he would
Among men he lived
Pleasing and acceptable
To all in question

A mission he had
To redeem, to save
And to this he adhered
To the point of death
A testimony is there, to defend the claim

In the pain of death
For my sins he paid
And earned the place
A savior for mankind
From eternal damnation

Dead still he isn’t
He rose and ascended
To the place so royal
And an empty grave remained
To prove my savior lives

A responsibilities in bulk he left
To guard what he put in me
And spread it to others in generosity
A helper to aid he sent
As I cling on to his promise

To come back for me he promised
Sooner than you think to whisk me off
But a condition I have to uphold
Obey to the latter the rules so well set
Least I lose an inheritance of eternity

THAT DAY (THE FIRST LOVE)

I remember that day; not like it was yesterday,
But like the day, I wanted it all to hold and stay
The day I shared, in Joshua’s prayer of faith
Let the sun still till I close the deal at hand

Might be the love you radiate
Or the peace you give as I meditate
Upon your word in bid to get intimate
With you God, my creator, my owner

Your oracles are my joy
Living by them is my purpose
With the intensity of that day, the day I fell for you
The first love I had I forever bid to uphold

You God are my refuge
Lifting me up when I fall into sorrow
And what payback can I give, a creature just like me
But lines of praise and a heart full of thanks

CHARLOTTA

If down my chin beads roll
Wait not for me to fool
Sweat it is I may claim
But just know it’s all because I bemoan
Charlotta's fracturing departure

Long gone are the happy days
Of merry laughter and plays
And now on the sky the sun seems to delay
And the once so sparkly stars seem to fade
Ushering in the since forgotten chill of the night

On a slip I grasp, like seaweed to an armature
Faint it may but let go I wont
A connection it is to my fair Carlota miles away
A tunnel of renewal to my so sapped energy
As the days drag by to the date so divine

Under lock and key my heart I keep
With blinds drawn least I take a peep
To the moments I hold for soon back soon she will be
And again the stars will light and the sun warm
Our play ground, yes, and witness they will
Our laughter and joy carry on yonder

LOVE I DID

From the sky they fell
But shelter I dint
The sun shone, on surface to glint
It was all in quest, to drive me away

I tried to shout
Bring back life, fear without
But all was against, like bait on trout
And I vowed to stick, the rules to flout

I believe she felt
The heavy message I pulsed
Though they all applauded
When my quest shuddered to a stop

Wet and hot I felt
As the rain and sun beat
Hoping my audacity to break
But cling I will for her aura I feel

To love I did yea, and she felt
Though do circumstances belt
Break they will for they can’t smother
And let the spark die , she lit in me

what if

What if it was just for a day
And all the possibilities drift into the air
Will it all just have been a fray?
The joy of having you
The thought of owning you
Will it just be but a beacon
To derail my focus and set me astray

What if I was wrong
And instead let go , the urge to belong
Will my head beat and be heavy at the same
Will I be like a gong, shrill but heavy
Or will I be gay, full of merry and laughter
Smiling at the day, I claim you; and owned you

What if I remained confused
Deep in disillusion all hope diffused
Will fate fly by and my ticking bomb defuse?
Or will I by chance open my eyes;
To the bright side of the cloud
Or will I say, “what if. . .
